As Bronny James’ rookie season with the Lakers continues, he’s starting to show signs of growth during his G League assignments. After a few impressive scoring performances with South Bay, James has traveled with the team to play in the G League Winter Showcase in Orlando.
The South Bay Lakers played their first of two games in Orlando on Thursday against the Greensboro Swarm, the Hornets’ G League affiliate.

It wasn’t his most efficient shooting night from the field but James continued his streak of double-digit scoring with 16 points in a loss to Greensboro. In addition to his scoring, James dished out five assists and pulled down four rebounds in the game.
As for things to clean up on, James committed five fouls and six turnovers. Mistakes come with aggression, however, and his mentality shift is certainly a welcomed sight for Lakers brass.
